The management team of MiniChess Cote d’Ivoire has recently completed a series of 4 refresher training sessions which were held on the 19th and 30th November as well as the 1st and 2nd December 2017. The sessions focused on refresher training for the qualified MiniChess trainers who will be responsible for the roll-out of the program in the country.
Mr Charles LORNG, the Director General of MiniChess Cote d’Ivoire has also been actively visiting the pilot schools with representatives of the Ministry of Education. They recently visited the 4 public primary schools in Yopougon– to the delight of more than 400 learners that will benefit from the program.
They also visited schools in Marcory and Port Bouet which have additional schools that will benefit more than 150 children each.
The launch of MiniChess is causing considerable excitement in the Cote d'Ivoire and we welcome the involvement of the local Ministry of Education who has embraced the MiniChess program from the outset.
KCF Africa wishes all trainers well as they commence the first lessons in the weeks that lie ahead.
