The 2017 PSS Capablanca Chess Festival is now fully up and running and has attracted more than 250 players from across the African Continent. This year's festival has features a tournament record of 8 separate Round Robin events and also sees more than 170 additional players participating in the various weekend Swiss tournaments.

The top 5 round robin sections are being broadcast live on Chess24 and the FollowChess Application where games can be viewed daily at 9am and 4pm. Round 3 is currently in progress and all results and games can be accessed at http://chess-results.com/tnr271699.aspx?lan=1

The IM section has seen GM Sahaj Grover take an early lead with 2/2 while 15 year old Jack van Zyl Rudd has also started well with 2/2 in the Round Robin A section.
