Day 2 at the Ugandan Open saw a number of major upsets which have now set up the event for an exciting weekend.

IM Arthur Ssegwanyi was the most notable casualty and he finds himself 1.5 points off the pace after falling to CM Deng Rehan from South Sudan in round number 4.

Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya all still have players at the top of the table as 4 players found themselves on full score at the end of the second days play.

Round 5 sees James Panchol (KEN) vs FM Patrick Kawuma (UGA) on board 1. The board 2 clash will feature Shadrack Kantinti (UGA) against the giant killer CM Deng Rehan.

Games from the top 5 boards will again be live on the FollowChess Mobile Application. Latest results and standings are also available at http://chess-results.com/tnr308457.aspx?lan=1
